Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu-PF, has decided to impeach President Robert Mugabe after a deadline for his resignation passed on Monday. The party has already called its MPs to discuss on the process of impeachment.
In its official Twitter account, the ruling party announced that “proposed vote of no confidence in president Mugabe”

The party also said, “We regret all the embarrassment the old man has caused. Indeed after being president for so long R G Mugabe is struggling to accept reality. With or without his acceptance the process will proceed.”
