Ethiopia: Unrest in Oromia region’s Nekemte town leaves 3 dead

Three people died today, 30th October 2017, in Nekemte town, 318 Km west of Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa.

According today’s Facebook post of Ato Addisu Arega, head of the Oromia regional state communication affairs bureau, three people has died and also unspecified private & government property was damaged. Ato Addis has expressed Oromia regional government’s ‘deep condolesences’ to those who affected. He also rejected the act of chaos and violence without mentioning who takes responsibility for the action.

Oromia has seen new wave of protests within this month, October.
