Authorities are investigating to know who is behind the attack, the Minister Getachew Reda said. The victims are receiving treatment.

The Anti Terrorism Task Force announced that the attack has wounded 24 people; five of them are severely wounded.

The task force called on the public to tip the police about the identity of the attacker.

Saying there are groups that are trying to carry out terrorist acts under the guise of various agendas, the task force urged the public to cooperate with the police so as to prevent such destructions.

The capture of 10 members of the Ginbot 7 group, which designated by the Parliament as a terrorist group, trying to enter the country so as to carry out terrorist acts displayed the efforts of such groups, the task force said.
