Manager functional activates of senior accountant.
Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
Reconcile cash with financial units of partner businesses or institutions.
Ensure proper implementation of financial policies and procedures for services under development.
Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic financial direction
Ensure all collections from operations centers and branches are deposited correctly in bank accounts
Ensure appropriate revenue is received and recorded by Kifiya from each branch or project area or center.
Work with Contract Manager (Products & Services) to ensure compliance with SLAs & other contract stipulations.
Ensure daily cash transfer to utility bank account base of SLA
Following monthly commission invoiced and collected.
Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries
Support OFM on develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up
Responsible for all accounting functions and preparing related reports. Assumes responsibility for accuracy of records and reports;
Ensure reconciles general ledger, subsidiary accounts and non-general fund bank statements.
Ensure reconcile accounts receivables with general ledger.
Assists in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and general office procedures.
Assists departments with general ledger inquiry, research and corrections.
Serves as backup for all Finance Department functions when needed.
Count schedule annually and surprise count for all center cash and inventory.
Ensures all cash collections are deposited intact to the Institutions bank accounts and reconcile receipt vouchers with bank deposits
Produces and submits accurate, complete and timely financial reports of the department, including Bank Reconciliation, balance sheet, etc. (monthly, quarterly and annual);
Determines that each subsidiary ledger is in agreement with the related controlling account in the general ledger;
Manage Coding and Posting the transaction in to the ERP system or any other system used by the company
- BA degree in accounting, Finance or related field from recognized university.
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels
• A minimum of 7 years progressive experience.
• Preferred who has experience in service provider Business Company.
