Ethio telecom wins International Europe Award for Quality for the year 2015

According to the news posted at Ethio Telecom‘s official website, Ethio telecom has won the ‘’International Europe Award for Quality’’ granted by the Global Trade Leaders’ Club for the year 2015.
Ethio telecom Chief Executive Officer, Ato Andualem Admassie, received the International Europe Award for Quality on the 19th of October 2015 in Paris at the Hotel Meridien Etoile on behalf of ethio telecom and Ethiopia.

The Selection Committee of the International Europe Award for Quality reached on this decision based on the information provided by 7,500 entrepreneur members of the Global Leaders Club from 95 countries.

On the occasion, Ato Andualem Admassie, CEO of ethio telecom, spoke of ethio telecom’s achievements in the past several years in the telecom sector which was applauded by participants and invited officials of the ceremony.

He showcased the efforts ethio telecom has made in order to minimize the widening digital gap in the country between the urban and rural population and the success achieved by connecting millions of new telecom customers each year.

Global Trade Leaders’ Club is an international organization of leading businesses from 95 different countries with the aim of establishing a union between companies who hold international prizes for their quality, prestige and business leadership in their respective sectors of activity and geographical location.

The award ceremony, which was held from October 18th to 20th 2015 in Paris, is created to distinguish those companies who recognize global excellence and quality as an essential requirement for products’ implementation in different markets, as well as to promote commercial contacts between companies worldwide and the European markets.
